| 1. View on abortion | | No response |
| 2. How will you handle taxes | | The spending in Hunt County needs to be evaluated so taxes can be lowered. I believe more budget cuts are possible and that the Commissioner's court need to address them. |
| 3. Economic development plans | | The only part of economic development that the Office of Constable would play, would be to help reduce crime so businesses would feel safe to come to Hunt County. |
| 4. Role of office | | I believe that the Laws set forth by the Constitution and Local Government Code are fair and legal for the Office of Constable. |
| 5. Background | | I'm a 25 year veteran Law Enforcement Officer with specialized training as a Field Training Sergeant, Advanced accident Investigator, Advanced Tactical Officer, Advanced Tactical Paramedic, Civil process Officer and High warrant apprehension Officer. I hold a Master Peace Officer Certificate with over 3400 hours of class room training. I started as a Police Officer for the City of University Park in Dallas and spent the remaining time as a Motorcycle Traffic Officer for the City of Coppell. In 1996, I was Elected Constable of Hunt County Pct. 2 and served two consecutive terms. After Hunt County, I spent several years as a Police Sergeant for the Town of Argyle and was then hired to be Dallas County's Tactical Swat Paramedic for their High Warrant Apprehension and Special Response Team. I retired in August 2011 with the sole intent to regain the position of Constable Pct. 2 , and to restore the Professional service, dedication and appearance to that Office. |
| 6. Activities | | I spend my time as a active Masonic Mason and York Rite Knights Templar since 1997. I continue to donate and do charitable work for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Dallas. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my granddaughter play soccer for the YMCA. |
| 7. Any conflicts of interest | | N/A |
| 8. View on marriage | | No Response |
| 9. Why are you running | | The citizens have voiced their concerns that the service they once had is gone. The ability to pick up the phone and call their Constable 24/7 for any reason was a thing of the past. The pay and benefits for the current Constable have risen, but the service has declined along with the generated revenue that the Constable could collect. The Office is costing Tax Payers of Hunt County thousands of dollars a year, instead of it helping the Tax Payers of Hunt County. The management style in that Office is to do the very minimum to get by. This type of management style should not be tolerated and only the voters of Pct. 2 can change it. |
| 10. Personal life and public office | | If your personal life is to be lazy, no goals or respect for others, then the Office you hold will suffer. If your personal life is good, your motivated, you have respect for others and your willing to go that extra step in everything, it will show in the Office you hold. |
| 11. What qualifies you to run | | My dedication to Law Enforcement and to the citizens of Hunt County. I held this Office for eight years and know what the citizens want and require of their Constable. I have the most experience and most extensive training in Law Enforcement than the other candidates. I have strong family ties to Commerce since 1881, when my family came here in covered wagons to settled down in Cow Hill and the Fairlie area. My family members include Kenneth and Barbara Lewis of Fairlie, Mike and Wanda Crowell, Steve and Jeanette Davis, Joe Fred and Jane Cox, Carolyn Burt, Bobby Dale and Carol Williams, Frank and Debra Crowell and Grant and Regina Crowell. |
| 12. Voting for in 2012 primary for President | | To close to call at this time. |
